On the playground below my window football and basketball are played on a daily basis between friends for fun, handball is played organized and other sports are played here and there spontaneously.
Two weeks ago Croatian national team qualified for the finals of Davis Cup.
There are a countless number of stories of top athletes beginning with the sentence: "I watched the game on TV and wanted to be like a role model, I enrolled in a local club, ..."
It is the responsibility of the seniors be a model for kids today, whether they like it or not, whether they want it or not, whether they understand it or not.
Their choice is not: „Am I a role model to children or not?“
Their choice is: „What kind of role model I want to be?“
