Norway defeats Serbia in the first Main Round match

Norway made their second replacement, Espen Lie Hansen is back in the squad after illness, meanwhile, Joakim Hykkerud is out again.The match started with Norwegian lead, but Serbia decided to hold close and led by Zarko Sesum Serbian fought strongly keeping the result close or draw. The Norwegian defense had problems to keep far Petar Nenadic and company, Torbjérn Bergerud had a weak first half in the goal and the result before the pause was 17-17. Sander Sagosen, Kristian Bjørnsen, and Magnus Jøndal were the most efficient scorers for Norway, Serbian goals were signed by Nenadic, Ilic, Marsenic.

In the second half, Norway put together their defense, Lie Hansen was replacing Sagosen in defense and the SErbian team was troubled in the attack. With the improvement of the defense, Bergeruds performance had also improved the goal. Serbia seemed to be tired after 45 minutes, 23-27. Norway was still willing to run, scoring fastbreak-goals and won the game 27-3.
